Measurement methodology

Every engagement starts with a baseline.

This page explains what we measure, how we measure it, and what we will and won’t publish.

WHAT WE
MEASURE

Three layers, all of them yours to see.

VALUES RESERVED — POPULATED PER ENGAGEMENT
Delivery
Cycle time — calendar days, accepted → live in production
Lead time
Release frequency
Milestone predictability
Quality
Escaped defects within 30 days of shipping
Rework rate
Production incidents
Review coverage
Economics
Delivery cost per production release, against your baseline
Total delivery cost for the engagement

We track deeper operational metrics internally — including how our own AI systems perform — but the numbers above are the ones that matter to your business, so they’re the ones we report.

DEFINED
GATE

Nothing ships unverified. Here’s what that means.

DEFINITION — VERIFIED

Verified means reviewed against agreed acceptance criteria, passed through automated checks, and cleared by the production-readiness controls appropriate to the system — human review for judgment, evaluation suites for AI-generated components, and security checks matched to the workload. It’s a defined gate, not a slogan.

THE
RULES

How we keep the numbers honest.

Only production-shipped work counts.
Baselines come from your own history and are signed off by you before we start.
Scope classes are fixed at acceptance, never retro-fitted.
Misses stay in the record — defects and late milestones included.
Numbers come from delivery systems — the issue tracker, version control, CI — not from recollection.
Ask us to walk through any number. We will.
WHAT WE
PUBLISH

Your numbers are yours.

Engagement data belongs to the client. What we publish here, over time: our measurement methodology (already on this page), representative anonymized benchmarks as engagements mature, and case studies — only with written permission, only with real numbers behind them.

WHAT WE WILL NEVER PUBLISH
Any client’s economics without their sign-off.

Have something important to ship?

Talk to an engineer. 45 minutes. Your roadmap. No sales deck.

We’ll walk your current delivery flow, tell you honestly whether a sprint makes sense, and show you what we’d measure first. If it’s not a fit, we’ll say so.
